Sheffield occupies a great central location: From Manchester you can get to us in an hours drive through the beautiful scenery of Derbyshire along the A57, from Leeds it's just a short journey down the M1 South (around a 45 minute drive) and from Nottingham you are only an hours drive via the M1 and A61. Sheffield offers a variety of cheap parking with prices starting from £3.50 for a full day. If you don’t want to drive into the city centre we’d suggest taking advantage of Park & Ride. If you’re driving here on the M1 consider parking at Nunnery Square or Meadowhall, or from the west park at Middlewood and you can catch the Supertram into the centre.

Sheffield’s train station is a bustling hub of activity and brings you instantly into the heart of the city, keep in mind that Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham are each under an hour away. At two hours distance are London St Pancras and Hull, and last but not least Edinburgh is a respectable four hours.

East Midlands Airport or Leeds Bradford are the closest to Sheffield, but if you are traveling from abroad flights are often more frequent and cheaper to London or Manchester and then it's a direct train from London St. Pancras Station or Manchester Airport respectively.

The Sheffield Coach Station is located opposite the train station, and National Express coaches frequently drop visitors off there during the day. Megabus picks up and drops people off at Meadowhall, which is a short tram or train journey from the city centre.
