S1 / SALON
A season of short film and videos, screening work by over thirty artists. Work by emerging artists will be presented alongside films by internationally established figures. The salons are programmed around material selected from an open call, reflecting what appears current from the submission without prescribing themes or categories. THIRD ANGEL
THE LAD LIT PROJECT
Third Angel brings you an enlightening investigation into male identity, looking at how individual and collective experiences have defined and shaped the way men are seen by themselves and others. Taking life affirming moments within popular male literature – ‘Lad Lit’ – as a starting point, the piece is an epic tale told in the minute detail of everyday life. (Tickets: £10/£8.50, Wednesday preview £6.50)

THIRD ANGEL
STANDING ALONE, STANDING TOGETHER
Sheffield Galleries & Museums Trust has commissioned Third Angel to create work to accompany the Tate Sculpture exhibition. Standing Alone, Standing Together will be a performance piece with over 50 performers, taking place along the Millennium Galleries’ Avenue. It will allow viewers to walk along the public through-route in the gallery and experience the sculptural possibilities and power of the live human form.

INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF DIGITAL ART
The Lovebytes International Festival of Digital Art is an eclectic mix of  exhibitions, installations, events, live performance and specially commissioned new art works which explore the creative and cultural potential of digital media and communications. It will involve a number of organisations and venues, including the Site Gallery, and will provide an important platform for both newcomers and established artists.
