Live Late: Craft Jam

Fri 09 Oct 2015 – Fri 09 Oct 2015 Millennium Gallery (open Mon – Sat / 10am – 5pm
Sundays & bank holidays / 11am – 4pm)

Join us as we get crafty for the next installment in our LIVE LATE series. We’ve teamed up with our friends at Sheffield’s Folk Forest to bring you a bumper evening of live music and creative activity. As well as a fantastic live line-up curated by The Folk Forest, there’ll be lots of opportunities to learn new some great crafting skills, all under expert tuition from some of Sheffield’s top artisans and makers.

Grab a beer and get crafting, or just sit back and watch the experts at work and enjoy a very special live performance from:

Bridie Jackson and the Arbour
Bridie Jackson and the Arbour are a Newcastle trio of folk-influenced musicians; creating works of haunting beauty, both sparse and detailed. With rich vocal harmonies and subtle string arrangements, they are led by Bridie’s remarkable voice and evocative wordplay, at once dark and playful, joyous and melancholic.

“Refreshing unpretentious and movingly soulful” – The Telegraph
