Here On in

Norwich-based artist and Bloc Projects member James Epps created a new painted work in situ across a series of five covered windows on the exterior the Bloc Studios building, adjacent to the Bloc Projects gallery.

One Great Workshop

The Future Works strand of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Stories of Change project, based at the School of Architecture, University of Sheffield, aims to uncover stories about the relationship between energy, industry and landscape in the English Midlands. One Great Workshop will focus on the stories of Sheffield and include an exhibition, talks, walks, workshops and activities linking visual art and design with a focus on energy and making.

Charlie Godet Thomas – Escape to a Sparkling Moment

In his new Bloc Billboard Escape to a Sparkling Moment, Charlie Godet Thomas departs from his primary mediums of sculpture, photography and painting to engage in his preoccupation with pairing melancholic and humorous content.

Benjamin Hirte Solo Exhibition

Picnic Picnic is pleased to present new work by German artist Benjamin Hirte in his first UK solo exhibition. Hirte uses a wide range of working methods and often employs a combination of objects and text in order to examine language, semiotics and metaphor within the context of specific cultural histories.

Sheffield Design Week Launch

Sheffield’s annual celebration of design in all it’s forms launches at Park Hill, with a special Peddler market with a mix of art, street food, craft beer and more.
